Gift of Nature

 

 

The Sun and the clouds up in the sky,

Created rain and the wind made it fall.

The earth caught the rain in bowls of lakes,

And splashed it over mountains into waterfalls.

 

 

 

They changed into rivers that flowed through the plains,

Made the grasslands so green and forests with trees so tall

This was home to the birds and creatures that crawled,

The creatures grew taller, the animal Kingdom they called.

 

 

 

They all came together and decided one day,                           

To make a special creature with beauty and brains,

Then was born the human, with a mind of his own,

So, he could enjoy Nature, the greatest gift of All!

 

 

 

The Meadows

Drifting through the meadows, where the streams run blue; 

Where the grass is soft and even,dipped in misty morning dew;

Where the mighty hills are daunting and the breeze blew mellow;

Rainclouds cast their shadows on the heaven spilled below.

Kaise tumhe ye keh dein, ke is dil mein tum hi ho tum

Haal- e - dil kise sunaein , ke in dhadkanon mein ho tum

ho gayi hai humein muhaubbat, teri chaah mein jale hain,

Tujhi pe chahatein lutaayen, tujhpe hi jaan ye vaarein,

Teri kehkash adaon ke hue deewane..

Tere milne ki justujoo mein hi har pal bitaa rahe hain,

wo ghadi jab tum saath ho usee ko sochkar jeete hain

Tum nazar aao toh ye dil hi thum na jaye

Meri deewangee kahoon ya teri aakhon ki kashish hai,

Inhe dekhoon to sab bhulaa doon, bas meri ye gujaarish hai,

ye jise dhoondhe wo bas mera hi chehra ho

Jo raah pe chale the..

 Jo raah pe chale the .. bhare aasuon se aankhein

Dil  ki har khwayishein adhuri.. aarzoo ho na payi poori

Meri bechainiyon mein phirse tu samayi....

Meri tanhayiyon mein bhi teri parchaayi

Har kadam saath chale, fir bhi hai rusvaayi

Yun to saansein chale par zindagi na bhaayi..

Pyar itna tha ke aankhon se jhalakta tha

Lab pe har waqt tera naam hi rehta tha

Kya gile the jo kar gaye yun bewafaayi

Laakh koshish ki tujhe dil se bhulaane ki

Dil ke jazbaton ko dil mein hi dabaane ki

Fir bhi bewaqt rulaye teri judaai

Loves me not!

The dreamer in me weaves beautiful thoughts

The dreamer in me wants fairy tale plots

Candlelight dinners, moonlit walks,

Flowers and praises and all the sweet talks.

One would think, an armoured knight

Or a prince on white horse would ride into my life.

And whisk my heart away; But love hit me hard..

I fell head over heels for this King of heart breaks!

The first chance he gets, he smashes my air castles

No flowers on the date, no perfume to dazzle.

No dinner and wine, no trips to cloud nine,

Reality check ! girl.. only crazy diamonds, best, shine!

Forget sweet nothings, he says mean things..

His words cut like knife, his loves’ always hurting

But if u look close and deep, here is the real thing

Its from the daggers of the world that he means to be protecting

When he looks at me, he sees my true colors,

I want to look away, but his gaze magnetizes.

I want to scream out but I can barely whisper

I pretend to be strong but he is a mind reader

I want to run away but I run into his arms, abashed;

I want to pull apart but I stay embraced, enslaved;

This is where I belong, he owns me how..

He loves me not or he loves me now!

A song to me

I wish I knew tomorrow,

        I wish I could foresee;

A peek into the future,

        To know how things would be.

If I had my wish granted,

        I would want to see me,

The ‘me I would turn into

         In ‘morrows yet to be.

I’d ask about the rights,

       And the wrongs I did to me;

I’d ask about the person,

          I rather should have been.

I’ll promise to myself then,

         To ‘right’ all the wrongs;

To talk back to myself one day,

        To write the future’s song.

My Sunshine

You are my ‘Sunshine’

   Brightening, enlightening, shoving the dark expanse,

 A ray of hope, giving me warm abode,

   The savior of my soul; that you are to me!

With you by my side, life’s a rainbow slide;

   Just beauty above, below and around.

Unnerving emotions, you keep them at bay,

  I could kill any tide; your strength makes me say.

You may be ridiculed, mocked at, often fought with,

   I may drive you insane coz I am not more sane;

I’ll be by your side forever, you know,

   Coz’ this amazing friend, I am never letting go!
